ELGIA hosts Innovation Foundation for Democracy, supported by the French Embassy.
The Electoral Law and Governance Institute for Africa (ELGIA) is dedicated to fostering socio-economic development through innovation, research, and growth. This morning, we welcomed a delegation from the newly founded Innovation Foundation for Democracy, supported by the French Embassy. The delegation included Dr. Jean-Marc Segoun (Program Director), Dr. Richard Makon (Head of "Labo Arc Côtier" in Douala, Cameroon), and Mr. Romain Boyer (Political Counselor at the French Embassy).
The Innovation Foundation for Democracy is a pan-African non-profit organization aimed at promoting democracy grounded in Africa’s history and cultures. The visit explored potential collaboration with ELGIA to strengthen civic engagement and democratic processes across the continent.
This partnership would provide tools, resources, and educational programs to empower communities and support innovative democratic initiatives in Africa. @followers
