ELGIA signs MoU with Judiciary Committee on Elections Management - Zambia (JCEM)
Day II of the Consultative Peer Learning workshop held in Nairobi between the Zambian and Kenyan Judiciary on Electoral Dispute Resolution (EDR).
Today’s discussions circumvented around developing effective communication strategies, providing administrative support to election courts through improved operations, technology integration and reporting.
The meeting also ventured into a session of interactive plenary where the Kenyan and Zambian Judges shared their unique EDR experiences and gave opportunity for questions towards collaborative learning and exchange of best practices.
The day culminated into a roundtable meeting, that lead to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Judiciary Committee on Elections Management - Zambia (JCEM) and the Electoral Law and Governance Institute for Africa (ELGIA) demonstrating commitment to a partnership that aims to enhance electoral justice.
