Electoral Law and Governance Institute for Africa (ELGIA) in collaboration with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) convened a two-day Legal Reform workshop in Nairobi.
The primary objective was to deliberate on legislative enhancements pertaining to electoral processes in an electoral cycle approach. In particular, efforts were concentrated on finalizing the Election Amendment Bill, formulating Amendment Regulations, and refining protocols for dispute resolutions.
These substantive revisions are slated for submission to Parliament, signifying a significant stride forward in electoral governance.
